Last night's Silver Tea was one for the books! What a special group the Class of 2024 is. We cannot wait to cherish their last six weeks as seniors. But no matter what, they'll always be Falcons! #foreverfalcons

Our High School's Plant Science class visited Seneca Meadows Education Center and Seneca Meadows Wetland Preserve yesterday! Even though the day started out foggy, it was beautiful once they arrived in Seneca Falls! Students were able to learn about the history of the Wetland Preserve and were able to see many plant and bird species. Their highlight of the trip was viewing the nesting Bald Eagles and getting a glimpse of their young ones! They were able to see an Eagle fishing in one of the ponds nearby their nest as well. Mr. Fred Leff from the Montezuma Audubon Center was a great guide and helped them learn so much about the plants and birds that call the Seneca Meadows Wetland Preserve their home!

Two of our High School students, Alex Quagliata and Kurt Pleckan, have been working in our MakerSpace on building a Lego rollercoaster for about 5 weeks and they have now completed the million piece project! Ms. Gale shared how excited kids are about it and how cool it was to see the working rollercoaster come together. Seniors like these two will be hard to replace when they graduate!

Congratulations to the following students for having their ceramic artwork chosen for the 35th Annual Feats of Clay juried student exhibition. Their artwork is on display at the Everson Museum in Syracuse from April 13-May 4, 2024. It will be located on the lower level of the museum and will be part of 150 pieces of student ceramic artwork from across New York State. The work will be judged by professional ceramic artists to potentially win various awards and prize money. We encourage you to visit the exhibition and celebrate South Seneca’s artistic achievement!
