In the last couple of weeks, the students in the Studio Art and TC3 Ceramics classes have explored different museums in our area. The Studio Art students traveled to the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art in Ithaca to view and analyze various exhibitions related to portraiture. The students in TC3 Ceramics traveled to Syracuse to the Everson Museum to see the largest collection of American ceramics in the nation. Students engaged in an activity to evaluate and analyze influential ceramic works and then take those processes back to their own artworks. Thank you to Breana Copp for providing our students with enriching learning experiences!
Tina Bauder and Brad Cartwright took some middle schoolers to Oak Island Park in Waterloo yesterday to take in the eclipse. It was quite the day and one we'll never forget! #foreverfalcons

It's a big week for music in our schools. Last night's POPs concert was incredible. This morning, the Theatre Association of New York announced awards for our school. Our music and theatre programs work diligently to provide great experiences and fundamental skills for our students and it shows. Congratulations to our band and chorus kids and to the performers, crew and staff in the spring musical.
What better to conclude "Music in Our Schools Month" than with our Middle/High Annual Pops Concert? Congrats to staff David Turken, Kyla Perry, Chad Eastman, Ellen Eastman Smith and all students on an incredible performance! #foreverfalcons
Talk about March Madness! This was no ordinary pep rally, students and staff enjoyed an array of friendly competition, including sweep the potato, towel tug-o-war and other hilarious games. Seniors came in first place, followed closely by our Juniors. Go Falcons!!

Our Plant Science students went over to the Elementary School to read to second grade students for Agriculture Literacy Week! They read "I Love Strawberries" by Shannon Anderson and did an activity where students had to place the stages of the plant's life cycle in order (from seed to fruit).
🎶 Exciting day in our 2nd grade science class! Students got creative, using household objects to craft their very own instruments 🎻🥁. From rubber band guitars to water bottle flutes, they explored sound and engineering in a fun, hands-on way!
